"Archaeologist, Prehistorian and vertebrate Paleontologist, I am currently a professor and teacher-researcher at the Institute of Archaeology (University of Algiers 2) and a team leader at the Laboratory of Geodynamics of Sedimentary Sets and Orogeny (University of Science & Technology Houari Boumediene) My research focuses on archaeological and paleontological patrimony. I have the ability to study various artifacts, paleoenvironments, fauna and prehistoric man. I lead several excavations and field work on a yearly basis with multidisciplinary teams composed of senior teachers and PhD students. Fields of experience include Archaeology, Prehistory, Patrimony, Vertebrate paleontology, Mammals, Paleontological field research, Archaeozoology, Anthropobiology, Origin and evolution of Mankind. I also act as a member of various scientific committees, reviewer in several academic journals, author of books and scientific papers. I am also active in several associations for the defense of archaeological, paleontological and geological heritage. My role also involves the conservation of the paleontological collections and fossils at the Museum of Geology of Algiers. ".
